Kimberlee Smith
Yoga Instructor & Marketing Guru

Thirty years ago, Kimberlee Smith, always an active sportswoman, was passionate about speed skating when she began to experience lower back pain. A friend introduced her to yoga and everything changed.

“Embracing the fundamentals of proper alignment healed not only my body, but also led to a deeper emotional and spiritual awakening.”

In 2012, she trained to be a certified Hatha Yoga instructor with Paula Tursi of Reflections Studio in New York City at the wonderful Anamaya Resort in Costa Rica and Kim’s Karma was born.

“Kim’s Karma allowed me to combine my love of yoga with travel, enabling me to create studios for newcomers to the practice in non-traditional settings.”

She partners with NBV/North Beach Village Yoga to work with guests in boutique hotels on the beaches in South Florida. Yacht enthusiasts in Monaco practice with her in private gardens along the Cote d’Azure. And it is not unusual to experience Kim’s Karma in the Chiosco Della Musica, at sunrise on the boardwalk in Bordighera, Italy where Kim lives when she in not in Pompano Beach, Florida.

“I met Melissa Ferrer Burke in South Florida about five years ago and was enchanted by her Yoga To Go and her retreats giving back to the community in exotic locations around the world. As Inspire Travel’s marketing guru, I am looking forward to connecting the gifts of this remarkable team with travelers seeking adventure, fine dining and creative inspiration.”
